Tyres replaced my compressor when my ac stopped working. The compressor they put in wasn't pumping out very cold air. On a hot day it felt like a fan, not air conditioning. They put another new compressor in with no charge and no complaint. They seem ethical and do quick quality work

Came to Tyres for new brakes. A large area dealership had quoted a price and Tyres beat it by a significant amount. The car was ready sooner than I expected. Good communication calling before starting repairs and confirming brakes did need to be replaced. I will be back.

Extremely professional staff who told me everything wrong with my car in plain English. They also explained to me how Maryland auto inspections work, which was incredibly helpful because I just moved here from NY. LIFE SAVERS! I cannot speak highly enough about Tyres auto. I brought a car in from out of state to a different mechanic, and it failed the Maryland Safety Inspection for a number of items. The other mechanic quoted me for a $4800 repair, but Tyres was able to do the same work for $2800! Even better than that, they advocated for me and pointed out that some of the parts that the other mechanic failed me for in the inspection should not have actually failed. They printed out the specific parts of the Maryland law covering those parts of the inspection, highlighted all of the relevant areas, and advocated that I bring it back to the other mechanic and explain that it should pass. Tyres clearly went above and beyond, since they could have just taken the opportunity to do extra work and earn more money from me by replacing the parts anyways even though they weren't necessary, but instead they went out of their way to save me money and help me avoid unnecessary repairs. With their help, I was able to get my vehicle to pass the inspection! Beyond their excellent service and commitment to helping me get an affordable repair, they were just incredibly nice to interact with the whole time. John in particular was beyond helpful, explaining things very thoroughly and going above and beyond to advocate for me and help me out. This really was the most pleasant experience I've ever had with a mechanic. It's so important to find a mechanic you can trust, and I am very confident that I can put my complete trust in Tyres after this whole process with them!

Went to Tyre's to get my car inspected before a long road trip. They found a few issues that needed to be addressed quickly. They said it would take some time, but I didn't have much time before I left (my fault for procrastinating). These guys stayed several hours after they were supposed to close to get me ready to roll the next day. Fast forward 2 weeks and I noticed leaking and found out there was an issue with the water pump, which they supposedly fixed.

Be advised you are being charged $40 diagnostic fees, Mark up on parts, upon hour rates and whatever else they want. Brought my truck here because my normal shop was a little busy. I knew the wheel bearing was going out on the passenger side, driver side just went out and was replaced so I gave them a call got scheduled and learned the price was double what I just paid for the other at a shop down the street. I was asking questions for the breakdown and the guy starts getting an attitude yapping about me asking to bring in the part in. Yes bc It’s literally 1 hour in labor and a part that retails for 125$ so how am I being charged almost 500$. Anyway I paid them the 40$ and did the job myself since they ruined my work day anyway. Couldn’t imagine paying these kind of prices every time something minor goes wrong. Find a new shop

My experience is limited, but it left a good impression. I brought my car in for AC repair. They determined the compressor and condenser were leaking. They informed me about a notice Honda had put out about this issue and informed me that it should be covered by the warranty due to my car being rather new (it was). They could have just done the repair anyway and charged me several hundred dollars or more and I would have been none the wiser. Instead they took the effort to inform me and charged me nothing. Again, this was a very limited experience and I can't speak to the actual work they do, but it tells me they have some integrity and spend some effort into doing what's best for the customer.

Tech flubbed the cabin air filter by not re-installing the glove box correctly. Another tech had to fix it and then take the trash that the other tech left on the floor. Otherwise happy with service.

I have always used the dealer to install my tires, even when I bought them from Tire Rack. I decided to use Tyres based on reviews and their competitive pricing. They told me it would take 3 hours and it di did to the minute. I have driven the car to lunch and back to my office and the alignment is perfect and the ride is silky smooth. In addition, the entire staff was a pleasure to talk to and work with. This is the only way to go.

This place I amazing. My wife picked up two nails and no big name places would even want to try to fix her tire. I was in and out in less than 30 min. The tire rides perfectly and no crazy price. $40 and $5 tip. That was it. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Made an appointment online for state inspection for a 1 year old car because I had moved from another state and got an email confirmation. Showed up on time and was told it would take two hours. Asked for waiting suggestions and was told I could walk to a coffee shop about maybe 0.1 miles away (so they knew I was waiting). Got No phonecalls or updates. I came l back about an hour and 40 mins later and my car was exactly where I had parked in. So I walk in and the guy at the counter says that they haven’t even started on it because “it is misting outside”. It had been raining for two days and there were no sudden weather changes so I asked him why they didn’t mention that when I dropped off my car and told them I was waiting? Got no real response other than a nonchalant sorry. Seemed the least bit concerned that I had taken the morning off to get this done, had a confirmed appointment, the weather was the same as it had been for a couple of days and they NEVER mentioned anything about not being able to inspect. Never cared to keep me informed even as I waited. Essentially, my time and business meant. Nothing to them. Tried to schedule for a different day but no way will I ever give my business to a company that has absolutely no value for my time or the basic decency to seem genuinely apologetic. I was, however, able to get my inspection done an hour later at a place that could do it and was so much more appreciative of my business. And fit me into their schedule. Glad others had a good experience. Having 3 other cars in my household, I was looking for a place nearby that could be a go-to for maintenance and the good reviews swayed me. Sadly, they could not care less about my business or time.

I took my wife’s Audi in for general maintenance. While doing the tire rotation, the mechanic noticed a problem with the right drive shaft. I was notified of the problem, the corrective action needed and cost. I gave my approval and the vehicle was completed timely. It was a pleasure working with Tyre Auto.

Tyres is the most honest and trustworthy shop I have ever had a repair done. I typically do not trust anyone to work on my cars besides myself, but ran into an issue that I could not solve. I brought the car in and they worked with me to get the repair done quickly and smoothly. I will absolutely bring future repairs to them and very highly recommend Tyres.

I have a customer of Tyres for any years. The staff is so friendly, honest and personable. You can always get an appointment either by phone or online. I never have to wait long no matter if I drop it off and pick it up later or I stay and wait. Tyres prices are reasonable and fair. I am sure there are other automobile repair shops around but why try them when I know I have the best.

My splash shield from my Nissan Altima was rubbing against my front tire. Chris told me that he had his mechanic cut the piece off and replaced some missing bolts from my exhaust pipe. Chris was very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend Tyres Auto Repair shop for your auto repair.

Their prices were incredibly out of line with other repair shops. I decided to not use them, and was charged with a very high diagnosis fee. The tow driver diagnosed the problem within a couple of minutes, and in fact gave Tyres that information. I asked for the part number, and they refused to give it to me. I was able to get the needed repair at half the price Tyres quoted me. I have used them for years, but this was a very bad experience and I will not be returning.

The crew at Tyres was incredible to work with. Had a dilemma where I cracked a rim on my Audi and did not want to pay for the replacement from Audi. The crew advised me of several different options, and ultimately helped me order a new set of wheels while getting my repair done as timely as could be. Couldn’t recommend them enough! Great group to work with and genuinely care about the solution for the customer before their own business needs.

I always use Tyre’s Auto Repair as I trust them implicitly. They tell you what is wrong and explain why. If you can’t afford all the repairs they will tell you what is most important to do now. I usually have to wait for my car and they work very quickly to get me going again.

I trust Tyre to maintain my truck. I don't have to worry about anything but getting it there. I have used them exclusively since 1997 and will continue to do so.. We always thoroughly discuss what needs to be done and I am always pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend this shop. You won't find a better group for the job.

Services at Tyre auto very reliable. Previously I went to different shop (Jo’s) and spent several thousand dollars. Once service warranties were expired, same problem returned. Actually I visited Jo’s several time due to the noise coming from the area where they fixed. They ignored my request and warranty expired. I brought my car to Tyre and it turned out bearing was broken which was replaced by Jo. Tyre fixed it correctly, no boise any more. Since then I kept going Tyre and everything that was done by Jo needed to be re-do. Staffs in Tyre are honest and they know what they are doing.

If you are looking for a reasonable priced car repair shop with very knowledgeable mechanics, then look no further then Tyres Auto. We have been taking our cars for repair to Tyres Auto for probably over 1 decade now, and we always leave feeling that we were well taken care with our auto repairs needs! Tom and the shop foreman Chris have helped us save money with our car repairs several times, giving us good solid advise with their varied car repair experience. I have been going to Tyres for years before moving to Virginia. I tried a few other shops down there but nothing came close to the level of experience, customer service and care that Tyres provides. I went to the a local shop twice and a Toyota dealer once to try and troubleshoot and issue with my Tacoma which neither could figure out. I brought it back to Tyres and within 30min they had diagnosed the problem and had it repaired the same day. They stand by their work, are fair, and won’t try to get you to do more work done then necessary. They’re an example for what all auto shops should be. I can’t recommend them enough!

This was my first time using Tires Auto Repair. They were polite, fast, and efficient. They explained what they had done, gave me a summary of the general condition of the car, and told me about a few none essential items that would need attention later in the future. Their sitting area was comfortable with good wi-fi so I could work while I waited.

Tyres is our go-to auto shop when we have any questions or concerns with our vehicle. They are straight forward and won’t give you the runaround on what’s going on with your vehicle. If the issue can be addressed through your car warranty, if you have one, they will let you know. I truly appreciate their honesty and integrity which is why we’ll continue taking our car here for any issues we may have. Update: We continue to use Tyres for our routine maintenance on our car. Their service is amazing and will work with you if multiple repairs are needed or recommended for your car. We continue to appreciate their amazing customer service and work they do on our car which helps me feel confident when taking my car on long distance trips.

It's difficult to find an auto shop you can trust. We all know the stories, we've all had some bad experiences. I found this shop based on a Tire Rack install recommendation in my area. Purchased my tires on Tire Rack and had them shipped here. So far so good. Then I scheduled the install, and had a good feeling from the phone call. Then I dropped the car off (my wife's) on the day of install and the parking lot was packed. All very good signs in my book. Then walked in, three service advisors, THREE! I'm impressed. Install went great, they called to inform us the stock wheels were slightly bent and even recommended another shop to repair them. I've been down the road of bent and cracked wheels, but I played a long and learned of another shop I wasn't aware of. I plan on giving them a try as well. Looking forward to my return visit for tires on my own car!

These guys are very professional and very honest. I had called them originally and didn't do the best of jobs describing the issue accuratley to the mechanic, so when they called to let me know what they found, the problems they mentioned (which were issues but not THE issues) weren't related to why I sent the car in. My car was going to take some time to look at and they offered a loaner car free of charge. When my fiance and I came to pick it up, he came in a bit heated and spoke to them about what had actually been going on. I can't for the life of me remember the guy's name, but he remained calm and cool during the whole conversation and they got to the actual issue and were laughing and joking at the end. They relooked at the car and disovered an issue with the transmission. We ultimately decided not to replace it at this time, but they were super friendly throughout the entire process and even let us leave the car there for an extra day. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and will definitely be going back in the future!
