I've generally had good experiences. Very friendly staff , quick ,and from what I thought trustworthy. I haven't had major work done there, just tire /filter/ oil changes,no complaints. I had my car towed in because it wouldn't start & They gave me a $1k quote and said I needed a new lock cylinder and a new key that of course reqrd programming. I had my car towed home and I called a local locksmith who was skeptical and offered to do a free diagnosis and said that the only thing I needed was new keys and recoding. 15 minutes & $230 later my car was running. Not sure if my quote at Tyres was an attempt to get over or if the tech simply lacked the knowledge in that area. However I was Disappointed at the unnecessary expensive Dx given by the shop . As I did not need what they said I did. I paid out of pocket to have my car towed from Baltimore to Timonium because I trusted them to give an honest dx ,so this was unpleasant to see.

Very honest guys, they will tell you what they know and they're not afraid to tell you when the old hunk of junk isn't worth repairs anymore

First time/referred by friend/car towed/given $1700 quote. After work began they called-less extensive-only$995 &suggested $50 oil change. Everyone helpful from first call until pick up. I plan to use them again

You know that feeling you get when you drop off your car at a mechanic you don't really know... There's none of that at Tyres. They exude honesty and customer care. They are upfront about pricing, provide valuable recommendations, and keep their word. I almost hate to put this review out there, I want to make sure I can get an appointment when I need it!
